Finally….a breather…
It has been so long since I blogged but business has been GREAT! I believe this “going back to basics” thing is really working! We have aquired 2 of the most beautiful listings this past week and have an appointment for another tomorrow! Better yet, I took ANOTHER call from another interested seller!! Unbelieveable!
Paul and I haven’t been able to figure it out either. We have this 4 letter system we use with FSBOS (For Sale By Owners). We send them 4 letters over the course of 2-3 weeks and we offer them all sorts of free stuff….marketing materials like free color fliers, a visual tour to give away….all in exchange for the names and numbers of any people that look at their home and decide NOT to buy it. That seems fair, right? We also send them a copy of their tax records off the county appraisal district website and an “open house kit” of sorts. So this is a very basic technique I have been using for YEARS and I have never seen the results we have gotten as of late! It’s phenomonal! But when we had our assistant do the 4 letter system for us about 2 years ago…NADA…NOTHING….it’s wierd and we can’t figure out why…..
We do a similar 4 letter system with Expireds as well. We met with a seller on Saturday Paul got from his Expired letters and we are signing them up tomorrow evening! This stuff WORKS! AND the last listing we got we received from doing our doorhangers we spoke about a blog entry or 2 ago. It’s just incredible. Going back to the basics works folks! Go get a book and learn the strategies from previous successful Realtors and do what they say!! They were successful for a reason!
