Originally planned to have 45 stories, India’s Mukesh Ambani decided instead for a more quant 23 stories. Ambani’s 400,000 square foot home was originally supposed to cost just a mere 1 billion dollars. The cost, however, is quickly approaching 2 billion.
The homes amenities include: separate gyms for each family member, six stories of parking, four stories of open air gardens, a ballroom covered with crystal chandeliers, a 65 seat theater, a spa, a swimming pool and an ice room.
Turns out the Ambani’s aren’t all that different from the rest of us. The reason they built this home? They were living in a 22 story building, and it was time to upgrade.
